I suggest you test with a external USB keyboard. If the external keyboard works OK then you will need to replace the internal keyboard. Keyboards are often found on Ebay.

Change in the keyboard layout can cause keys behavior to change. Please ensure all the additional languages are removed from "Regional and Language" settings. Click here to find steps on how to change your keyboard layout in Windows 7.
