Hi,

i bought a new dell lappy over a month ago and i copied 300gb of data into it.after a few days when i copied some of that data into pendrive,during the procees of copy it showed the memory of the files as it is and after the completion of copying all the copied data turned into short cuts.i found out it is due to a virus.i've run all type of scans and it didn't detected any viruses.i dont want to loose all the 300gb of data by formatting it.can anyone please help me how to get rid of that virus??.

can windows defender and kaspersky be used in a laptop?or can't be?.i mean will any thing happen if both are used at the same time?
