Hey good afternoon,
It has to built in a cd....OTS checks the CD drive and spins up the cd....it has to be on a an actual cd, or a virtual one(?) as emulated by software. I am not certain if the seond option is even viable, but just in case it is, if you can spin a virtual cd, and OTS sees it as a vaible drive, then a virtual one will work also.
Take your favorite mp3 and burn it to a disk, then you can mix it OTS, It is pretty cool little program.
