Need sata driver for xp on my dv4-1275mx

i got the dv4-1275mx hp laptop and would like to downgrade to xp somehoh but i'm not able to get the sata to work i've been looking all over the net and tried alot of files that should have worked but didn't hp don't give the option in the bios for some reason and if i can get it installed i will also need all the drivers sorry to bother you and thank you for your time hope you can help me

does this driver work fine for your dv4-1275mx? i also want to downgrade to xp but i am not sure if there are all drivers needed for this laptop to work fine under xp.
could you also give me a link where did you get sata driver to get work installation of xp ? because I've got stuck in bluescreen after booting from CD and getting this error message:

a problem has been detected and Windeows has been shut down ...
STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF78D2524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

thats error is becouse you need SATA drivers and add with nLITE SOFTWARE

well not sure if that is what i need because you ogt to pay to download it i guess i'll just have to wait until someone comes out with a work around or the driver i need to take care of my problem thanks for trying but i already paid to much to try to fix this so i guess i'm screwed for now blahhhh but thanks for trying

You don't need SATA driver for installation.
All you have to do is to go to your BIOS settings (press F2 at boot time) and there you have to change SATA Mode to IDE Mode:

BIOS -> Main -> SATA Mode: change to IDE Mode

Once you have XP installed, get the drivers from Acer and install them.
Reboot and change in BIOS back to SATA mode.
