does this driver work fine for your dv4-1275mx? i also want to downgrade to xp but i am not sure if there are all drivers needed for this laptop to work fine under xp.
could you also give me a link where did you get sata driver to get work installation of xp ? because I've got stuck in bluescreen after booting from CD and getting this error message:

Drivers HP Pavilion DV4-1275MX [Windows XP 64Bits] 6 RAR SATA

You don't need SATA driver for installation.
All you have to do is to go to your BIOS settings (press F2 at boot time) and there you have to change SATA Mode to IDE Mode:

BIOS -> Main -> SATA Mode: change to IDE Mode

Once you have XP installed, get the drivers from Acer and install them.
Reboot and change in BIOS back to SATA mode.
