The file or directory is corrupted or unreadable

hi,

i'm facing a problem while i tried to open one of my folders located in F drive.i'vent formatted it.the folder was full with mp3 files.as i try to enter ,it shows" F:/new/songs is not accessible.The file or directory is corrupted or unreadable".what can i do now??i've many valuable datas in that folder which i want to recover.when i went to the properties of that folder,it shows the size of folder is 0kb and its a read-only folder. but the F drive's size doesn't show much difference.i really need to recover that file's data.is there any way to solve this??
