I have an acer aspire 7730 that was working properly, both the key board and mouse suddenly stopped working. I fixed a usb key board and mouse that worked for some time and also stopped working.
Now the laptop powers up and gives an option in which I need to use a keyboard before it will boot to windows. no usb port now works.
Any help will be appreciated

Hi, treno
Try this:
1. try different devices with different ports
2. Reinstall drivers
3. Reformat harddrive, install windows and drivers
4. try different drivers
5. Check USB ports are enabled in BIOS
6. Update BIOS
