Can't open or format USB

Hello,
When i try to open my USB they tell me that i have to format and when i click format:
1-Quick Format doesn't start
2-When removing the quick format option and when it reach the end of the format they tell me that they can't continue
Can you please help me to solve this problem.

(format with DOS commands)
Open the DOS prompt (Start >> Run >> cmd)
Type:
FORMAT X: /FS:FAT32 /Q /V:PenDrive
This will reformat the Pen drive, using the FAT32 file system, and label the drive PenDrive. Replace X: with the actual drive letter of your Pen Drive. For more help on this command, type:
FORMAT /?
at the command prompt.
