Log in related problem

hi
Yesterday there was a power fluctuation in my office. So a one of my computers I used to work got a problem.

the PC starts as usual but doesn't display the log in screen and nothing except as if in progress to do so.

OK, it sounds like it is hanging. It may be fixed with a little chkdsk from dos prompt. Boot up to DOS and run chkdsk on the hdd. That is the easiest first step.

I thank you for your response first. I already chkdsk /r , Last known configuration, safe mood and attempt bootcfg /rebuild to create new copy of the windows, but none of them does fix the problem.
I wish you'll come with better solution. Thank you anyways.

@kaleb2....Considering you never told us what you have tried prior, we would have come with a better solution. Now that you have explained what you have already tried, we can approach from a different angle.
