Beeping after I took a key out

So one of my laptop keys wasn't working properly so I ripped it out and now every time I start up it starts beeping loudly with a black screen until I turn it off. It sometimes starts up normally but most of the time it doesn't. This is on my 2 year old Acer. Is there anything I can do to make it start up normally again?

You probably need to replace the keyboard. It's most likely the key is not stuck DOWN and the BIOS has detected an error.
