Hello,
I have dell E6400 latitude and my laptops screen goes black but all the programs still working in black screen while working windows 8. My hardware assistant told me that there is no hardware problem.
any buddy please me.
i tried to follow ms amna {plugout laptop, remove battery, press power button for some while}but i didnt work.

Did you try to connect an external monitor to your laptop to see if the display/image is projected onto this external monitor or not? You may try to press FN+F4 or FN+F5 to switch the image back to your internal LCD panel if you can see the image onto an external display device.
