Failed drives sometimes display this error and there is nothing you can do to fix it.
If it's just a computer problem then here is the solution to removing write protection in a pendrive. please do the following steps:
start - run -regedit - navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Currentcontrolset\control\storatedevicepolicies
in right side you will see writeprotect option, just right click that and modify the value from 1 to 0 and resave.
