Can an ACER Aspire One ZG5 (Win XP) become a hotspot?Closed

Question

hi all, im not a computer genius, and i have a case here... 

Basically im using Acer Aspire One ZG5 (Win XP), and to make it connect to internet i use an USB Modem (Bandluxe)... 

But can i share my laptop connection to my smart-phone? 
So if an laptop can detect wifi, does it mean it can also become a Hotspot? 

If, so can someone describe, or maybe give me a link to that?

Those are my questions, i hope somebody can help me...

You can do it with mhotspot, connectify, Virtual Router or MyPublicWifi.

Hi, thank you for the reply...

connectify is the only one tht suitable for windows xp...
sadly tha free program could not share internet from wireless usb modem...

to be able to do this, i have to upgrade it to Pro...
haha

any other program?

So basically all your solutions are correct...

For windows xp, i can use Connectify Pro 3.71 (It is compatible), it can be found through google and already include the serial number

The link you that you gave me is also good...

But turned out, there is one more major problem that can be solved..
My android cannot connect to ad-hoc wifi, it can detects the signal, but it can connect...

the only way to do that, is to root my android and use 3rd party app from google store... But i dont want to root my phone...hahaha

So that will be the end of me... hahaha
