Hi Pratigya,
Which is the Operating System you are running on your Inspiron N5110? If it is Windows 7, try to boot to the Safe Mode and check if you get any videos. If the video is good (though a lower resolution), uninstall the Video Drivers and restart the computer. Boot to the Normal Mode. Install the Video Drivers for you System Model and try to set it to the normal resolution.
