Volume and brightness indicator

when i first got my acer aspire, i could use fn + up/down or fn + left/right to adjust volume and brightness, and a pop up indicator would show me how much volume or brightness i had. But now it doesnt pop up, its just adjusting. I like to know where i am on the scale. But i cant find out how to get the indicator back, or what i did to "remove" it. And I want it back!!

Hello,

Try this 1

Click on Start --> In search box, type msconfig and press Enter.

Click on "Startup" tab --> Make sure that the "Launch Manger (Lmanager)" is

selected or try reinstalling it.
