Monitor power off?

Some times I was using my PC then the monitor close it self,pressing the on button won't work and I have to close the circuit for 30 seconds and on it for it to work,it happens every 10 mins.

Check your computer sleep mode for how many minutes it has set to?
And also maybe the laptop cable to screen is lose or the laptop over heats.
