Windows 8.1 : Icons were broken

I am using Windows 8 and Icon packager gave me problems...! I think because I uninstalled it..and now I have to install it back! First the filled folders were themed
but the empty folders were the default's and the "recent places"folder is themed
too.

I tried to navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
and delete shell icons and restart your computer but thats not working.
I tried using ico.reg to refresh my icons that were corrupted.If you can
give me advice,I could really appreaciate the help..

You can try FolderChanger, as it can help you change or fix the folder icon. Google "FolderChanger" to get it.
