Sound on my laptop gone.

Okay so I think i might have deleted my sound off of my laptop. Is there a way to get it back or to redownload it somewhere. I have a acer aspire one d255 with windows xp. i really need my sound cause i am in online class for college and need to hear my professor. any help will be good thanks

Right Click My Computer and Find Device Manager, you can see all your devices in there.. Find Sound/Video/GameControllers and you will see a question mark icon on your audio devices. Right click on it and then click "Update Driver Software" . You need to be connected to the internet in order to download the necessary files. hope this helps...
