Hello,
I have bought a Lenovo h520s. The integrated video card is not good for gaming so I decided to get a new video card. Since the space is really small I went for the smallest video card that I could find that is reasonably priced as well as good enough. The video card that I have decided to get is Asus Radeon HD 6670 3GB DDR3. I had to mod my case a little bit and keep it open in order for the video card to fit. I plugged it it and started the computer. The results were really good, games ran smooth but after about 10 minutes the monitor just turned off. I restarted the computer but it didn't work. I had the same problem even if I plugged the monitor in the old video card if the new video card was plugged in. I am wondering what can I do to make it work. Thank you very, very much for the support. Have a great day.
Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster SA100
Processor: I3
Windows 8

It seems to me that you have put a unsupported graphic card to your computer.

The Lenovo H520s has a low profile PCI Express x16 ver 2.0 expansion slot where you can add a discrete graphics adapter.
You can opt to use an Nvidia GeForce GT 620 1Gb or a AMD Radeon HD 7570 2Gb.

Please provide more information like what comes up or what happens when you try on the computer?

So it does not even work with the old graphic card?

Thank you for your support. What I thought I might do is get a new motherboard and case. Will I be able to change all the stuff from this computer to the new case or are they unable to separate from the motherboard?

From what I see on amazon a motherboard is about £50 and a case is about £40..I can deal with that in order to play games at good quality..I am asking if it's possible to just get everything out of my current computer and onto the new case. Well..everything except the motherboard

He said "same problem even if I plugged the monitor in the old video card"
So i think he mean he still has the problem even if he plugs in the old video card.
