Disc drive irons disappeared from my screen

How can I get the disc drive icons to appear on the left side of my screen. I lost them tonight while moving a few things around on my screen. I'm not really great at this as I'm 75 years old. Can anyone advise me???

Go to my Computer and Right click on DVD/Disk Drive and Choose "Create Shortcut"
