WD my passport not working...unable to access files

When I connect my external hdd the white light on my hdd blinks and it shows as Local Disk(G:) on My Computer( Previously it used to show as "Kenny's Passport") and the hard disk capacity is also not shown below the Hdd name!!! Also it wont open when double clicked!!! Pls Help!!! Atleast is there any way to recover my data??? Pls Pls Pls Help.

Hello,
Try this 1
Right-click on your external drive --> Properties. Let us know the file system. Is it RAW?
Also let us know the complete message that is being displayed when trying to open the drive and your external hard drive complete model number.
