Hello,

Hello,
I am having a problem. My laptop LCD screen broke and I don't have the money to replace it, but what I do have is a extra Monitor. I want to hook my laptop up to this monitor but I can't see what I am doing with the screen broken. I wanted to know if there was any buttons I could press to make it show up on the external monitor. I have a toshiba windows 7. Please Help.

Hello,

Try this 1

Just look for the VGA connector (there will be a monitor symbol) in your laptop

and connect it to the external monitor then switch ON your laptop.

Note: If you failed to get the display on the external monitor, then use the

proper combination keys (like Fn+F5/ the function key that has the monitor

symbol on it) to toggle between your laptop screen and the external monitor.

Click on the below hyperlink "External Monitor" to see how the symbol.

External Monitor

Good Luck
