Presario F500 screen goes black then the mouse appears, then notClosed

Question

My Presario F500 didnt work before, it kept going through a power cycle in every 20 secs, i fixed that though, but now when i start it up, it loads perfectly except for the end part, the screen goes black then the mouse appears, then nothing, i left it for an hour and still nothing, please help me.

k im no sure this will work but just showing you the way to your solution .k press ctrl+alt+del while in balck screen the choose task manager and it will come up ,on top of it there is a word file click on it choose new task than browser. in the right coner of the computer there is word program click on it and choose all files, maybe you can take it from here try unistalling programs by clicking c:/programs than choose the program that you wish to uninstall down ther in the program there must be unins choose it and. continue sometimes it can be programs that makes your sytem not to work normally.

It didn't work, i tried it before, but when i press anything, all that comes up is the mouse, nothing else.

K what about restarting jou pc before it restart press f8 repeatedly. Until. It asks to repair choose repair try to pass all the folwng is easy you just have to press ok and cancel if neccesary than you will get system restore point than restore it,it stil does not work than maybe you are to install another system

I tried that but, still all i see is a black screen with a MOUSE on it, I can move the mouse but nothing else is there at all, none of the keys are doing anything to it.
Please help me
