Screen blanks out after windows logo

when i boot to windows 7 on my pc, my screen goes black after the windows logo and welcome screen. only i can see my cursor on the black screen... infact when i tried to start task manager by pressing (ctlr+alt+delete) it doesn't shows option for task manager. i'm facing this same issue safe mode also... i tried to re install windows but setup windows is also not availabe.... please help me out.

i'm having intel chipset motherboard.

tell me your pc configration. Some time you have pentium 4 and you are going to install window 7 problem with update color. try to do window 7 window disk drive not a DVD Formet. After i run from there .
