Toshiba L675 sattelite screen lights up but no images

Screen lights up when booting laptop up but no images. If I hook up a monitor to VGA port all works well on added monitor and since it is a smaller one than the 17.3 I can see an outline of the one on the VGA port but still no images on factory screen yet everything works fine on one hooked up to VGA port. thank you any ideas appreciated

Try this!
Step 1. Remove battery and remove power supply
Step 2. Hold down power button without power supply for about 1min
Step3. Plug in you power cable and push you power botton
Screen should come on at this point
Step 4. Put back your battery and continue
If this doesn't work, maybe your screen is bad or your connectors is having problem
