A little Explosion inside the pc

Hello,
i dont know if it was the hard drive that exploded but a round thing fell of inside the pc. it has wire around the circle. i dont know why it happend but I need an explanation why it happend. can you help me ?

OK, Is it the CMOS battery? Is it about the size of a US$quarter dollar (coin)?

Does you machine beep when you boot it?

it is the size of a quarter but it does not say beep when i boot it

You should be able to push it back into the slot......

If your PC boots whithout a beep, then BIOS finds nothing wrong with hardware.
