once again i was wondering of loading window 8.1 on my laptop which is HP Pavalion dv6 Notebook PC. my screen does not support touch.

can i replace my laptop monitor (only) with a new touch type.

an other thing i want to upgrade my processor which is core i3 1st generation. is it possible.

Yes you can install Windows 8.1 on your laptop. Win 8.1 does not require a touch screen to work.

No. you can't upgrade to a touch screen.

No. you can't upgrade the processor.
