Hello,
I have issue with my My Passport Essential 500 GB hard drive doesnt work, I updated the driver but it didnt work either, It doesnt show up in my computer when I connect its light keeps flashing and when I open disk management its showing up as unknown device when I troubleshout it it says no problem identified thanks

Hello
Try this
After plugging in the device, go to device manager (In run type "devmgmt.msc") In Device manager go to "Universal serial bus controllers" It should list the storage devices that you have connected to your PC. Right click and then click "Uninstall. Remove the USB drive and restart your system.
Try connecting the device again.

I did what u said i unistalled SES WD DRIVER and Mass srotage when i restart my pc it cant install the driver back.
