Hello,
I don't know much about computers, but I was trying to recover my hp windows 8 and I accidentally shut it down and now it says "Boot Device Not Found" and I don't know what to do!

That error normally indicates that the hard drive has failed. You probably need to replace the drive and re-install Windows. I hope you made the backup CD's when the computer was new. Otherwise you might need to buy a new copy of Windows.
