Laptop cannot connect to the wireless network

Hello,

Sir, i having this problem...my laptop with windows XP Professional recently cannot connect to the wireless network ...suddenly limited or no connectivity notification is pop out and when i disconnect and reconnect , my laptop no longer connected to the wireless connection...but it works properly with a network cable plugged in...

When i right-click on the status of the wireless connection, it gives me the following:
IP address : Invalid IP address
Subnet: 0.0.0.0
Default Gateway: blank

Hello,

what encryption is your wireless security?

It's recommended you use WPA or WPA mixed mode so that older devices can connect as WPA2 doesn't work all the time with older devices.

Sometimes when my internet is down I forget the rest of my computer works.

Thank you for your reply....yesterday I had solved the problem and now my laptop is working properly...=)
