Hello,
please download the blackberry desktop manager from here: https://www.blackberry.com/us/en/support/desktop-software-downloads
do a backup to your mac and restore to whatever BB device.
Sometimes when my internet is down I forget the rest of my computer works.
PS - I'm from GMT time zone.

Yes, I do know about Backup to a desktop and have done it number of times. I was specifically asking to EXPORT the saved Places from BB Traffic to another GPS enabled device/smartphone, or at least the addresses...
Thanks
Thanks
Have you tried downloading the Blackberry traffic application

Thank you for trying to solve my problem! I guess what I really want is not to transfer the database of Places to another device, but to save the Places (45+ addresses) to a readable file so that I can enter the addresses into another non-BB smartphone...
Any ideas? Does BB even support such a thing?

If you can't get the info from the traffic application then i wouldnt imagine so.
It's probably going to be a case of having to write them down yourself.
read this user guide, if it's not there you cannot do it.
