Reciepents of my emailed pictures cannot open

Hello,
In the past I have been able to send photos to people in Germany and New York. Lately, they have not been able to open these photos. They get the text message, but can't open the photo's!

What format are you using for the pictures? The recipient must have a program that can read the file you have sent. The most universal format is JPEG, the file should have an extension of .jpg
