conditional formatting Solved/Closed

hello

I did a table in Excel ( its a vacation tracker)
I'll give you an example for what i'm trying to do 

Ex : my vacation starts from 15-mar to 20-mar
i already created a whole year cells but I want these cells to be highlighted once i determinate the date

did you get the idea ..!?

Scenario:
D2:ND2 --> Days (01/01/2014......12/31/2014)
A2 --> Date start vacation
B2 --> Date end vacation

Try to do:
--> Select D2:ND2
--> Menu Conditional format
--> New Rule --> Using formula

Formula --> =AND(D2>=$A$2,D2<=$B$2)
Use a format colour that you prefer.
OK

i did exactly like you said but the whole cells was highlighted 
idk if it's possible to send you the file i made so you can see what i want to do
or even a print scrn of it

I downloaded your Excel file.

I did a little modification on your file, to make possible a conditional format to work on.
I changed your single numbers to dates. Line 2.

Then I used a Conditional Formatting with a formula
=AND(N$2>=$E3;N$2<=$F3) to $N$3:$NN$22

Make your own tests.
