                    Hi, not sure about your usb drivers but when i looked up your laptop there was a battery recall.

                    Did you install 32 bit or 64 bit version of Windows 8?
Have you tried installing the Windows Vista CHIPSET drivers from the HP support website?
If you still cannot get it to work then your laptop simply isn't compatible with Windows 8.
Have you tried running Windows Updates as some drivers may come from there?

Thanks I've checked no recall on my battery
