Hello,



I would like to use an external monitor for my toshiba sateliteC650 laptop how can I do that ? It is already connected to my laptop but the lcd attached screen is still black must i put a command or else anything to do so that i can use external monitor at a same time?
please help me.

The external monitor plug is normally inactive in most laptops. There is a Function key that turns it on. Something like Fn + F5 consult your manual for the exact key.

If your laptop uses a Intel chipset there is also a Intel icon in the "Control Panel" that allows you to activate the port and set/change what is displayed.
