Hello, can anyone help me determine a formula that will give me a percentage? If N11 is 2500 and I11 is 84, I need a formula that will help me determine what percentage of N11 is in I11. Thank you!

Hi Kaiwalls04,

To remember how to do percentage calculations, start with easy numbers.
N11 = 100
I11 = 50

Now it is easy to say N11 is twice as big as I11 or 200%.
How do we got there?: 100/50*100%

So to answer your question: =N11/I11*100

Best regards,
Trowa

while I understand the basic math, what is getting me is this. Why is my percentage way over 100? This is what I need. If

A B C D E G
1912542 698050 57588 271781 481860 3421821

(Where A, B, C, D, and E total G), what I need is a formula to show the percent of A through E that totals G. I know this is crazy simple, but for the life of me I can't get it today! lol
