Hello,

I have a question. Let say I have a table containing number 1,2,3,4 and 5 in A1:A5. In another worksheet, I have "Student" in A1 and "Assessor" in B1. A2 will be the drop-down list cell.

I want to know whether it is possible to have B2 to have the same change according to whatever the choice will be in A2 AND with a coloured cell fill in B2.

For example, in A2 I choose "1", B2 will also show "1" with the green cell fill (or highlight, I don't know what does it called..). Same if I choose "3" in A2, B2 will also have "3" with red cell fill.

May I know if this is possible? or do I need some new high-tech software downloaded?

Please help me. Thank you in advance.

Hi Natasya,

My high-tech formula will render high-tech software absolete!

Use this in B2: =A2

Now apply conditional format to B2.

Best regards,
Trowa
