the answer is no. uTorrent itself is not a virus. However, if you're not careful you can easily download a virus by downloading torrents from untrusted sources.

Get uTorrent from the link above.

be safe when downloading torrents. Read comments on that torrent to give you a better idea on if its safe or not.
