download the latest iTunes.
Normally with the installation of iTunes all the drivers needed for an IPod are installed.

Hi,
keep in mind that only the newer iDevices like iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad need drivers.
If you've got one of the newer ones, the drivers will be installed with iTunes. If you don't want iTunes to be installed on your computer, you can install QuickTime and the AppleMobileDeviceSupport only.
