WD element not detected

I bought my WD element 1TB harddrive about 2 months back. While i was transferring some files from this to my new laptop which i bought not 10 days back, suddenly my hdd stopped working and hence is undetectable at any system. i have read most of the remedies here which have been ineffective. I wish to retrieve my data as well. please help me..:))

My laptop is from company Asus with windows 7
When i plug it in any port it makes the ding sound but is not detectable on My computer

I suggest you return the drive for replacement under warranty. The data is probably not recoverable if the drive is not detected on any computer. I would check the drive on another computer before returning it.
