Black screen when booting

Hi

i was updating my drivers, its told me to restart laptop (dell laptop with windows 8.1), when booting it showed logo then black screen. I cant boot anymore, it doesn't pass the black screen, i do try safe mode by pressing f8 or f11 but it don't enter any safe mode options, only buttons that work are f2 & f12. I am really stressed now

Have you tried removing the battery waiting a couple of minutes and then replacing the battery.? I don't know if that will help but it worked for me once.
