My computer is a DELL model and I currently have Windows XP on it. I don't know what happened but my sister was using it late last night. This morning I saw that the computer had been plugged out. I plugged it in and turned it on and the computer started up, the screen showed the DELL logo and the bar filled up and then the screen goes black and after about 30-60 seconds the windows xp screen pops up and it's loading and then the screen goes black again and it goess back to the DELL logo screen and so on.
I'll link pictures in a sec. Please help! Anything would be appreciated.

Hello Drew,
Sorry to say but this is a major issue which cannot be resolved on the net.
What you have described has once happened to me, the computer even started by itself during the night.
You may have had a power surge.
The issue resides with your power supply and also with your hard disk.
I strongly suggest you consult a hands-on technician.
Sorry but that's the way the cookie crumbles.
Good luck and best regards
