i know XP is virtually extinct now , but i kinda like it , anyway , i have a Dell laptop , Latitude D600, i can only retreive my hotmail if i turn laptop off then on again, or restart it , they dont go directly to my Inbox whilst computer is switched on , although they used to .

You just need to refresh your browser, no need to restart the computer.
