We had an Acer computer and monitor. All of sudden I was getting a no signal message. I took PC to repair shop and learned the motherboard was shot. I bought a new HP computer and connected to my Acer monitor. It worked fine the first few times but now is saying no signal like the old computer. Can't believe the motherboard in the new PC is. Any ideas.? Thanks.

Oh boy! Don't throw the old pc away, the motherboard may be good.

Try another monitor and carefully check your cables.

We tried another monitor on the old computer and it didn't work either. We then tried the Acer monitor on another computer and it was fine. It also worked the first few times we turned on the new computer.

It must a be a graphic card issue, certainly not the motherboard
