Cant type in numbers

the numbers lock is lit ok on my keyboard, but the last few days it occasionally has been very slow. now it just wont work at all. please help as I cant access anything, thank you.

Things like computer name and model and what OS you are using would be helpful.

my computer is hp pavilion five-hundred two four two eu i i still cant type in numbers. please help as ive a lot of unread messages from twitter and facebook to read.- thank you.

have you tried an external USB keyboard. Laptop keyboard often fail from over use of damage.
