My lap top keeps changing my display resolution

Hi
whenever i open google chrome or certain programs my laptop automatically changes my screen resolution i then have to go into my display settings and change it but when i click keep settings if i close the window down when i open the internet again it keeps doing the same thing.

its not a driver issue because all my drivers are up to date can anyone help?
