My Dell Latitude D630 laptop screen light is not on

Hello,
I am using a Dell Latitude D630 laptop....as recent as nw I booted my laptop and the screen showed dark.....if I use an external lighted pointed to the screen I call slightly see what d screen displays but without that its seems as if the laptop is off....d screen lights are total off
plz help

You will need the services of a PC tech to check and replace either the "backlight" or the "inverter" that powers the backlight.
This repair in not something that you can do yourself. Trust me
