All speakers are not working

Hello,

all speakers of 5.1 sound system are not responding .
it were working well at windows xp.
after installing windows 7 this problem has been arose.

You must reinstall your sound card driver.

Okay, my speakers are turned on. They are plugged in. I have downloaded jave & adobe.
When I go to my control panel and click sounds, speech, & audio devices, it says that I have no audio device. They are Altec Lansing speakers. Two of them.
I've tried to find free sound card downloads and I can't seem to figure them out.
PLEASE HELP!

Creative 2.1 Only subwoofer does not work

Hello,

I have been using Creative 2.1 from past 5 years. It has been working fine all the way and with same clarity sound delivery from the first day. But recently I started connecting it to my LCD TV and my mobile (sony ericsson) and now sometimes the subwoofer just stops working. It starts of after lot of sweat in checking its circuit and connections. But being an electronic engn. I see that there is no problem with its circuit. Please Please Please help me with this.

Hello, I recently experienced no sound on my laptop and I couldn't understand why. I tried all the quick fixes I found online and nothing. I was even about to download a new driver altogether but luckily I found the problem before that... Turns out my playback options had switched which was really stupid so this is what I did. On the bottom right hand side of my tool bar I located my volume control and right clicked. When the menu popped up I clicked on the sound option and once that menu appeared I went all the way to the top where there are (3) tabs and clicked on the first one which is playback. The sound in my HP laptop just stop working

Hello,
I have gone to Sounds in the Control Panel and checked all of the settings and my sound does not work. It is not muted or low - it does not work. Hoever, it does work when you use headphones.
Any ideas as to what is wrong with it? Any help would be appreciated!

Altec Lansing 5.1 subwoofer is not working

Hello,

I have a Altec Lansing 5.1 and creative sound blaster soundcard but the subwoofer is not working when I set it to 5.1 but the 5 speakers are working but in 2.1 set up the subwoofer is working with the 2 front speakers
