Not able to format the disk

Hello,

when i inserted my seagate hard disk to my laptop showing that you need to format the disk to open it, when i did it, showed ''WINDOWS WAS UNABLE TO COMPLETE THE FORMAT'' and then i tried to open it from my computer it showed ''LOCATION IS NOT AVAILABLE'' i hope someone will help me for this problem.....!!!!

Your external disk probably has failed and needs to be replaced.
