Desktop folder not open windows cannot access the specified devi

Hello,

sir, I have double click the desktop icons it will not open . the error comes ": windows cannot access the specified device, path, file. you may not have the appropriate permission to access the icon."

Please help me

Hello,
Are u using a guest account if so then u need to login in Ur administrator give it rights to install ,run certain files that are present in the administrative account. Or u could just right click every time and chose run as administrator

OR
Maby the shortcuts are broken only.
