VLC can't play Blu-ray on my Windows 8, what need to install?

I searched online, to learn that VLC can play Blu-ray discs on Windows 8, but failed me. How can VLC play Blu-ray? What to install?

Hello,

a normal DVD drive will not play blu ray drives. you will need to fit a BD-ROM drive to your computer.
